Kaiser Chiefs' Guitar Heavy Comeback

Kaiser Chiefs have been working on guitar heavy new tracks for their comeback album.
The 'I Predict A Riot' rockers have been on a two year hiatus, but say their return later this year will come at the right time, as they feel guitar music is returning to the charts.
Drummer Nick Hodgson told the Daily Star newspaper: "It's all going in the right direction.
"We're busy. The writing started a long time ago, like a year-and-a-half ago. It's just been on a nice steady pace because we've had a lot of time off.
"I like the fact that guitars are beginning to creep back in and it's exciting.
"I like all kinds of music but when I hear something I really like it normally has loud guitars in it and I'm starting to hear more of that everywhere."
Lead singer Ricky Wilson - who stars in the band alongside Nick, Andrew 'Whitey' White, Simon Rix and
Nick 'Peanut' Baines - added he's looking forward to getting back on the festival circuit, with the band confirmed for the Gurtenfestival in Switzerland in July.
He said: "The first I heard about the Swiss show was when it went on the internet! But we're on the posters so it must be happening."
No release date is yet set for the Kaiser Chiefs' new album, which will follows up to 2008's 'Off With Their Heads'.

Kaiser Chiefs set for new album and festival comeback
Band to join Arctic Monkeys at Swiss event
Kaiser Chiefs are set to return to the European festival scene this summer, having been booked for Switzerland's Gurten Festival.
The Leeds band have been on hiatus since 2009 and last released an album, 'Off With Their Heads', in 2008. NME understands that they are preparing a new album for release this summer, possibly in June.
Gurten Festival is their only confirmed live booking of the year so far, with Arctic Monkeys, Underworld, The Streets and Jamie Cullum also on the bill.
The event takes place on July 14-17. See Gurtenfestival.ch for more information.
The new album is set to be released on the band's new record label, Fiction.
